Meet Dr. Sumit Sharma

Dr. Sharma was raised in a small town in southern West Virginia. He started down the path of dentistry because of his desire to help people.

He received both Undergraduate and Dental education at West Virginia University. During his tenure, Dr. Sharma had the honor of pursuing an undergraduate thesis in Molecular Biology and in Dental school research involving dental fillings that release fluoride.

Dr. Sharma says the best part of his job is developing relationships and being part of our community. He believes in getting to know each “individual person, not just their smile” allows him to provide a higher standard of care.

He partners this people-first outlook with his approachable and fun personality. We’re sure you’ll enjoy your visit with Dr. Sharma as he makes you smile.

When not caring for smiles, Dr. Sharma can be found spending time with family and friends, enjoying new restaurants, the arts, and cheering on the Washington Capitals, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the WVU Mountaineers!
